UDP Stream

I know you have answered a question similar to this one in a previous post but maybe you would be willing to provide sample code.

I have an application that needs to play incomming ULAW (8000 samples, 8 bit, 1 channel --64Kbps) data that is recieves from  UDP datagrams (800 Bytes each). I am pretty sure I could write all of the data to a file, add a header, and then play the file. But more ideal would be a solution that would buffer the data and then play it without the extra file operations.

Any suggestions about how to do this would be appreciated.
