Decoding *.spx files for playback

May 22, 2015 at 11:54 AM

I actually tried to use NSpeex (Link) to play Speex files from disk, which didn´t work whatever I tried (always Bandmode error).

Is there any example how to use the NAudio NSpeex plugin for file decoding? I´d like to have a Wavestream for this format, but in fact the port seems to only decode packets and not reads full files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Come on, no suggestions? Any advice would be better than nothing. Anyway I want to do it the managed way.

I'm afraid I have no knowledge at all of the .spx file format. I'd recommend asking over at the NSpeex project for help.

Ok thanks. About our discussion of the *.flac format and the rumors for windows 10 flac support I found this interesting site:

So the rumors are correct. Just for your information ;)
