soundwave file ticking sound

May 20, 2014 at 10:44 PM
ok i am having problems getting my sound wave to come out just right. There is a ticking sound in there and I do not know why !!!
I am trying to do a isochronic tones generator. but the frequency is not coming out right. I run it in a fft so that is how I know.

ok here is my code:

                            if (counter2 >= Beat)
                            {
                                for (int t = 0; t < 10000; t++)
                                {
                                    wavefile.WriteSample(0F);
                                    wavefile.WriteSample(0F);

                                }

                                counter2 = 0;
                            }
                            else
                            {

                               wavefile.WriteSample((float)Math.Abs(Amplitude3 * (Math.Sin((Math.PI * n * (Frequency3/2) /44100D)))));
                               wavefile.WriteSample((float)Math.Abs(Amplitude3 * (Math.Sin((Math.PI * n * (Frequency3/2) / 44100D)))));
                                counter2 = counter2 + (1D / 44100D);
                            }
                        }
                        wavefile.Flush();
                        wavefile.Dispose();
                        file.Add(save1.FileName);
I had ( Math.Sin(( 2*Math.PI * n * (Frequency3) /44100D) but I had to change it up... after running it in my FTT... it the Frequency was too hight .. I do not know why.. it was like double what it should be

but it is still off
this is how it sounds:

Can you make the sound you want with a synthesizer? I would probably go about this by combining Signal generators using a mixer, or passing them through LFOs to modulate the amplitude.

IDK can I
how would I write a single sinusoidal waveform with only 180Hz frequency at a 10Hz beat
I want a 180Hz signal to drop to 0 at a 10 Hz frequency

like in this picture:

it should sound like this
